Make a contact form

You will make a form with a name, an email and a message, put it on your website, and get an email each time someone writes.

  1. Create the form.

    Click Create Form. Set the title to something like “Contact us” and write a short line under it.

  2. Add three questions.

    Add a Short Answer with the label “Your name”, an Email with the label “Your email”, and a Long Answer with the label “Your message”. Turn on Required for each. See All fields.

  3. Say what happens next.

    People see a thank-you after they send. You can send them on to a page of your own instead, see Thank-you page.

  4. Publish.

    Click Publish, open the link and send a test message yourself.

  5. Put it on your website.

    Open Settings and add your website, then publish again. Open Share and copy the Embed on your website code into your page. See Embed on your site.

  6. Get an email for each message.

    In Settings, turn on Email me for each response. Add the person’s answers to the email if you want to read the message there. See Email notifications.
