# Thank-you page

The thank-you page, your own words on it, and sending people on to another page.

When someone sends your form, they see a **thank-you page** in the form's own look.

## Your own message

On the **Pro** plan and above, open the form's **Settings**, then **After sending**, and write your own **title** and **message** under *Thank-you message*. Leave a box empty to keep the usual words ("Thank you" and "Your response has been recorded."). It shows after you publish.

The text is shown as plain text, so it cannot contain links or formatting. The title can be up to 120 characters and the message up to 500.

If your plan changes to one without this feature, the usual words show again. Your own message is kept, and comes back when you upgrade.

## Sending people on to another page

Under **After sending**, **Redirect address** takes people to a page of yours after they send the form. This works on every plan.

On the form's own page (the shared link, or a form shown in a frame) the thank-you page stays for three seconds, with a count of the seconds left, and then they go. There is no button to skip it, so the thanks is always seen.

A plain HTML form on your own website goes to the address as soon as it is sent. That page is yours, so there is no thank-you page of ours to show first.
